UK Status
Resident. Locally common in the southern half of England and rather
more uncommon in Wales.
Montgomeryshire Status
First recorded in Welshpool in 2000 and since then at Middletown in
east of the county in 2012.

Lifestage data
Spinning/fruit feeder. Eggs laid singly on berries. Larva lightly spins
two or three berries together and feeds inside the fruit. Pupates in a
silken cocoon under bark or amongst leaf litter. |
